Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Ph.D. in Engineering / Technology in a relevant discipline from a recognized university.
- Master's Degree (M.Tech./M.E.) in the relevant specialization is mandatory.
- Minimum 14–15 years of experience in teaching, research, academic administration, or leadership roles in reputed universities/institutions.
- Strong academic record with publications in reputed peer-reviewed journals, conferences, patents, books, and research contributions.
- Proven experience in academic leadership, curriculum development, accreditation processes, faculty management, and institutional growth.
- Candidates must fulfill UGC/AICTE norms as applicable.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide academic and administrative leadership to the School of Engineering & Technology.
- Develop and implement strategies to strengthen academic excellence, research output, innovation, and industry engagement.
- Oversee curriculum design, revision, and implementation in alignment with emerging technologies and industry requirements.
- Ensure high standards of teaching, learning outcomes, research activities, and student development.
- Lead faculty recruitment, mentoring, performance evaluation, and professional development initiatives.
- Promote research culture through funded projects, patents, publications, innovation, incubation, and consultancy activities.
- Supervise accreditation and quality assurance processes including NAAC, NBA, NIRF, and other regulatory requirements.
- Build strong industry-academia partnerships for internships, industrial visits, training programs, placements, and collaborative projects.
- Organize conferences, seminars, workshops, FDPs, technical events, hackathons, and expert lectures.
- Represent the department in university committees, academic councils, regulatory bodies, and external academic forums.
Desirable Qualifications & Skills
- Strong understanding of academic governance, outcome-based education (OBE), quality assurance, and accreditation frameworks.
- Expertise in emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cybersecurity, IoT, Cloud Computing, Robotics, and Industry 4.0.
- Excellent leadership, communication, decision-making, and team management abilities.
- Ability to attract research funding, consultancy projects, industry collaborations, and strategic partnerships.
- Experience with academic ERP systems, LMS platforms, and research management tools.
- Demonstrated ability to drive innovation, entrepreneurship, and student-centric academic initiatives.
Pay Scale
₹60,000 – ₹1,00,000 per month
(Commensurate with qualifications, experience, and leadership capabilities)
