Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose Faults: Connect computer diagnostic machines to on-board vehicle systems to identify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Perform Repairs: Repair or replace broken, worn, or defective parts like brakes, sensors, transmissions, and engine components.
- Routine Maintenance: Complete scheduled servicing, such as changing engine oil, replacing air filters, and refilling essential fluids.
- Testing: Conduct road tests and use specialized equipment to verify that repaired systems meet factory and safety standards.
- Documentation: Record all diagnostic codes, parts used, and labor performed on digital work orders or shop management platforms.
Job Requirements
- Education: High school diploma followed by a vocational diploma, associate degree, or formal automotive technology training.
- Technical Skills: Strong ability to operate computerized diagnostic scanners, pneumatic tools, and precision measurement instruments.
- Certifications: Industry credentials, such as ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certifications, are frequently required or preferred by employers.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, work in awkward positions, and lift heavy equipment
Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
