Qualification | Cybersecurity Architecture Experience (in years) | 7 Job Description | Role Overview We are seeking a hands-on Platform Security Cybersecurity Architect to join Schneider Digital's Customer Experience & Customer Transformation organization. The initial focus of this role will be to lead and support our Data Catalog and Data Classification initiatives across customer-facing platforms, ensuring critical business and customer data is properly identified, classified, governed, and protected. Beyond data governance, the role will help strengthen the overall cybersecurity posture of our digital platforms by driving security-by-design principles, performing security architecture reviews, supporting risk assessments, and partnering with platform engineering teams to implement effective security controls. The ideal candidate combines cybersecurity architecture expertise with strong stakeholder management skills and can translate business and regulatory requirements into scalable security solutions. The candidate should be comfortable working in a complex global environment and collaborating across cybersecurity, data governance, privacy, platform, and engineering teams. Key Responsibilities: Lead the definition and implementation of data cataloging and data classification capabilities across our customer-facing platforms. Partner with business, data, privacy, and platform teams to identify, inventory, classify, and govern critical data assets. Establish standards, processes, and controls to ensure sensitive data is appropriately protected throughout its lifecycle. Conduct security architecture assessments and provide guidance on secure platform design. Support threat modeling, security reviews, and risk assessments for new and existing solutions. Drive adoption of security-by-design and privacy-by-design principles across digital platforms. Collaborate with engineering teams to improve security controls, monitoring, vulnerability management, and overall platform resilience. Skill Set Required | Required Skills & Qualifications 7–10 years of experience in Cybersecurity, Security Architecture, Platform Security, or Information Security roles. Experience designing and implementing security architectures in enterprise environments. Strong understanding of data classification, data governance, data protection, and information lifecycle management. Experience with cloud security technologies and architectures. Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, or equivalent. Experience performing security assessments, threat modeling, and risk analysis activities. Understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM), encryption, secrets management, and security monitoring. Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
