We are seeking an experienced Account Manager (Accounting) who not only manages client accounts and financial operations but also leads and mentors a team of accountants. This role combines client servicing, compliance oversight, and people management, ensuring smooth functioning of the finance team and delivery of accurate results.
Lead and supervise a team of accountants/executives.
Allocate work, monitor performance, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to enhance team capabilities.
Conduct regular reviews and ensure adherence to company policies and deadlines.
Act as the primary liaison for clients, handling queries and providing financial insights.
Maintain strong professional relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction.
Coordinate with cross-functional departments for smooth client servicing.
Oversee accounting operations: bookkeeping, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable.
Review financial statements, MIS reports, and tax filings for accuracy.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.).
Liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies for audits and filings.
Identify areas for process automation and efficiency in accounting workflows.
Implement internal controls to strengthen accuracy and compliance.
Recommend and drive improvements in reporting standards.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance. (CA / CMA preferred).
5–8 years of experience in accounting/finance, with at least 2–3 years of team handling experience.
Proficiency in Tally Prime and ERP/accounting software.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
In-depth knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and statutory compliance.
