Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and responsible Radiographer to perform diagnostic imaging procedures safely and accurately. The candidate will be responsible for operating radiology equipment, positioning patients, maintaining image quality, following radiation safety protocols, and supporting radiologists and the clinical team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform X-Ray, CT, and other radiographic examinations as per the prescribed request and department protocols.
- Verify patient identity, clinical history, and examination details before performing procedures.
- Explain the procedure to patients and provide appropriate instructions.
- Position patients correctly to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Operate radiology equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure proper exposure factors and imaging techniques are used.
- Follow all radiation protection and safety procedures.
- Maintain patient comfort, dignity, and confidentiality during examinations.
- Review images for positioning, quality, and technical adequacy before completing the examination.
- Repeat images only when clinically/technically necessary and as per departmental protocols.
- Perform other radiology-related duties assigned by the management.
Requirements
- B.Sc. Radiography / B.Sc. Medical Imaging Technology / Diploma in Radiography or equivalent qualification.
- 0–3 years of experience in a hospital, diagnostic center, or imaging center.
- Fresher’s with relevant qualifications can also apply.
- Good knowledge of radiographic positioning and imaging techniques.
- Knowledge of radiation safety and patient-care procedures.
- Good communication and patient-handling skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy diagnostic environment.
- Willingness to work in shifts, if required.
