Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated Data Engineer with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in building and managing data workflows. The ideal candidate will have practical expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines, Spark notebooks, SQL queries, stored procedures, and SSIS packages, with a strong focus on monitoring and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operations in a managed services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ADF pipelines for data integration and transformation.
- Work with Spark notebooks to process and analyze large datasets.
- Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and manage relational databases.
- Develop and support SSIS packages for ETL workflows.
- Monitor data pipelines and jobs, proactively identifying and resolving errors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, reliability, and performance.
- Document processes and contribute to reusable frameworks for future automation.
Required Skills & Experience
- 1–2 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Spark, SQL, SSIS.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in data workflows.
- Understanding of data integration, ETL processes, and performance tuning.
- Ability to work in a managed services model, ensuring continuous monitoring and support.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
- Familiarity with role-based access and workflow automation.
