Role Overview
We are seeking a Techno-Commercial Business Development Manager to drive the promotion and sales of our range of specialty additives used in powder coating
formulations.
The role requires working closely with powder coating manufacturers and formulators, understanding their technical requirements, and recommending suitable additive solutions that enhance coating performance, processing efficiency, and finish quality.
The ideal candidate should have a strong blend of technical knowledge in coatings or specialty chemicals and business development experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development
· Promote company products to powder coating manufacturers and coating formulators.
· Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
· Achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth.
2. Technical Support
· Discuss product applications with customer R&D, production, and procurement teams.
· Support customers during product trials, testing, and evaluations.
· Provide technical recommendations regarding additive selection and usage.
3. Customer Management
· Conduct regular customer visits to understand technical and commercial requirements.
· Coordinate with internal teams for samples, technical documentation, and order execution.
· Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
4. Market Intelligence
· Monitor market trends and developments in the powder coating industry.
· Provide feedback on customer requirements and product performance.
· Identify opportunities for new product development and application expansion.
Candidate Profile Education
· Degree or Diploma in one of the following:
o Chemical Engineering
o Polymer Technology
o Paint Technology
o Chemistry
Experience
· 5–10 years of experience in coatings, powder coatings, additives, resins, pigments, or related chemical industries.
· Experience in technical sales or business development is preferred.
Key Skills
· Strong techno-commercial understanding.
· Ability to interact with both technical and commercial teams at customer organizations.
· Good communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
· Problem-solving mindset with strong customer focus.
Role Requirements
· Willingness to travel for customer visits, trials, and technical discussions.
· Ability to work closely with technical, R&D, and sales teams to grow the business.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
