Role Overview
The Procurement Manager (Civil/MEP) will be responsible for managing the complete procurement process for civil, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing materials and services across projects. The role requires strategic sourcing, vendor development, cost analysis, and coordination with project and engineering teams to ensure timely availability of quality materials within budget. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, market awareness, and a deep understanding of construction procurement practices.
Key Responsibilities

Plan, manage, and execute procurement activities for civil and MEP materials and services.

Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and contractors for reliable sourcing.

Prepare and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost efficiency and ensure quality compliance.

Review material specifications, floating enquiries, evaluate bids, and finalize purchase orders.

Coordinate with design, site, and logistics teams to ensure timely material delivery and inventory control.

Monitor vendor performance and maintain accurate procurement records in ERP systems.

Ensure adherence to company policies, commercial terms, and regulatory guidelines in all procurement transactions.

Support management in cost forecasting, budgeting, and procurement planning.
Qualifications & Skills

B.E./B.Tech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering / MBA (Supply Chain Management) preferred.

8–10 years of experience in procurement for construction, infrastructure, or EPC projects.

Strong knowledge of ERP-based procurement modules.

Excellent negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities with a focus on cost control and timely delivery.
