About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Accounts Executive to manage our day-to-day accounting, payroll, statutory compliance, and financial operations. The ideal candidate should be well-versed with Indian payroll regulations, GST, PF, TDS, and accounting processes, while being able to work independently in a remote setup.
Key Responsibilities
- Process monthly employee payroll accurately and on time.
- Generate and distribute salary slips.
- Process employee reimbursements and salary-related adjustments.
- Calculate and process TDS on salaries.
- Prepare and file GST returns within statutory deadlines.
- Prepare and file Provident Fund (PF) returns and ensure compliance.
- Process and verify employee timesheets for payroll.
- Manage vendor payments and maintain payout schedules.
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain accounting records.
- Coordinate with management, CA, and auditors whenever required.
- Maintain employee payroll and statutory documentation.
- Assist in monthly financial closing activities.
- Handle miscellaneous accounting and finance-related tasks on an ad-hoc basis.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), M.Com, or equivalent.
- 2–5 years of experience in accounting and payroll.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Payroll Processing
- GST Filing
- PF & ESIC Compliance (ESIC if applicable)
- Salary TDS Processing
- Vendor Payments
- Bank Reconciliation
- Good knowledge of Income Tax, GST, and labour compliance.
- Experience with accounting software such as Tally Prime, Zoho Books, or similar.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working remotely with SMEs or startups.
- Familiarity with HR payroll processes.
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping and financial reporting.
Pay: Up to ₹120,000.00 per year
