Job Summary
The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assisting doctors during consultations and procedures, administering medications, monitoring patient health, and ensuring smooth execution of Ayurveda therapies and treatments. The role requires maintaining accurate patient records, adhering to hospital protocols, and ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.
Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Care
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to OPD and IPD patients.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs, symptoms, and treatment progress.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by physicians.
- Assist patients with daily healthcare needs and ensure comfort during treatment.
Doctor & Therapy Assistance
- Assist Ayurveda doctors during patient examinations and procedures.
- Coordinate with Panchakarma therapists and other healthcare staff for treatment execution.
- Prepare patients for consultations, therapies, and diagnostic procedures.
- Ensure timely implementation of treatment plans.
Medication & Treatment Management
- Administer oral, injectable, and topical medications as prescribed.
- Maintain medication records and monitor for adverse reactions.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of medicines and medical supplies.
- Follow infection control and patient safety protocols.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate nursing notes and patient records.
- Update treatment charts and patient progress reports.
- Prepare daily nursing reports and handover notes.
- Ensure confidentiality of patient information.
Patient Education & Counseling
- Educate patients and attendants about prescribed treatments and medications.
- Guide patients regarding diet, lifestyle modifications, and post-treatment care.
- Address patient concerns and provide emotional support when required.
Hospital Operations & Compliance
- Ensure cleanliness and readiness of patient care areas.
- Follow hospital SOPs, nursing standards, and regulatory guidelines.
- Assist in emergency situations and provide first aid when necessary.
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) or B.Sc. Nursing.
- Valid Nursing Registration Certificate.
- 1–5 years of nursing experience in hospitals or healthcare facilities.
- Experience in Ayurveda hospitals or wellness centers is preferred.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
