About the Role
Digi Sidekick is looking for a passionate and creative Cinematographer with 6 months to 2 years of experience in ad shoots, branded content, and digital content production.
We’re looking for someone who understands visual storytelling, can work efficiently in fast-paced shoot environments, and has hands-on experience handling cameras, lighting setups, and production gear for commercial and social media content.
The ideal candidate should be adaptable, technically sound, and creatively driven with a strong eye for composition and aesthetics.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute ad shoots, branded campaigns, and digital content productions.
- Operate cameras, lenses, gimbals, and production equipment during shoots.
- Create visually compelling frames with a strong understanding of composition and cinematic storytelling.
- Set up and manage basic lighting setups including soft light, hard light, and diffusion techniques.
- Assist in planning creative shots and executing visual concepts for ads and content campaigns.
- Maintain professionalism and effective communication on set with clients, talent, and internal teams.
- Ensure proper management of production gear including batteries, memory cards, backups, and equipment safety.
- Monitor basic audio quality and maintain awareness during production.
- Solve on-ground production challenges efficiently under tight timelines.
- Adapt quickly to changing shoot conditions, locations, and creative requirements.
- Support fast-paced production schedules while maintaining high-quality output standards.
- Organize shoot data, footage backups, and equipment after production.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6 months to 2 years of experience in cinematography, ad shoots, or content production.
- Strong understanding of framing, camera composition, and visual storytelling.
- Basic to intermediate lighting knowledge for commercial and content shoots.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Professional camera systems
- Lenses
- Gimbals/Stabilizers
- Production accessories
- Candidate must own and carry their own camera gear and essential shooting accessories.
- Basic audio awareness during shoots.
- Ability to perform under pressure in fast-moving production environments.
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.
- Creative mindset with attention to visual detail.
- Good teamwork, communication, and on-set coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on brand campaigns, social media ads, reels, or commercial shoots.
- Understanding of content trends and digital-first production styles.
- Familiarity with post-production workflows and media organization.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
