Special Educator cum ABA
Therapist Job Type: Full-time Job
Summary We are looking for a Special Educator cum ABA Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about working with children with special needs and have prior experience in providing educational and ABA-based interventions. She should be a compassionate professional with excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other educators and therapists.
Key Responsibilities Conduct one-on-one and small-group educational and ABA therapy sessions. Develop and implement individualized education and behaviour intervention plans. Maintain accurate documentation and monitor each child's progress. Work closely with Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Psychologists, and other Special Educators to ensure comprehensive intervention. Communicate effectively with parents regarding progress and home strategies. Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and multidisciplinary case discussions. Foster a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field. RCI registration is preferred (where applicable). Prior experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Down syndrome, Intellectual Disability, or other developmental disabilities. Practical knowledge and experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Excellent spoken and written English communication skills. Professional appearance with strong interpersonal skills. Patient, compassionate, and child-centred approach. Strong team player with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary setting. Good organizational and documentation skills.
