1. Installation & Commissioning
- Install and set up laboratory equipment (e.g., centrifuges, Ultra low deep freezers, incubators, spectrophotometers, Ultrapure Water purification systems, analyzers).
- Perform system validation, calibration, and functional testing after installation.
- Train users on operation, safety, and basic maintenance.
2. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance
- Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) as per manufacturer guidelines.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment breakdowns to minimize lab downtime.
- Replace components, assemblies, and consumables as required.
3. Calibration & Quality Compliance
- Perform calibration and verification of instruments to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain compliance with ISO, NABL, GMP/GLP, or other regulatory standards.
- Prepare calibration certificates and quality assurance documentation.
4. Technical Support
- Provide on-site and remote technical assistance to customers.
- Guide users in resolving common operational issues.
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers or OEM support when necessary.
5. Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare detailed service reports, visit logs, and maintenance records.
- Maintain spare-parts inventory and track equipment service history.
6. Customer Interaction & Training
- Communicate clearly with lab staff, researchers, and facility managers.
- Provide training sessions on usage, safety compliance, and routine care.
- Build strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
7. Safety & Compliance
- Follow all laboratory safety protocols and equipment handling guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Identify and report potential hazards or safety risks promptly.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Biomedical, Instrumentation, or Mechanical Engineering.
- 1–5 years of experience servicing laboratory/analytical/medical instruments (freshers may be considered for junior roles).
- Strong troubleshooting abilities and familiarity with lab equipment technologies.
- Proficiency in reading technical diagrams, manuals, and electrical schematics.
- Basic knowledge of calibration tools and measurement principles.
- Candidate with Refrigeration background is a must.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with OEM equipment such as Thermo Fisher, Agilent, Waters, Shimadzu, Eppendorf, etc.
- Understanding of GLP/GMP, NABL/ISO lab practices.
- Knowledge of PLC-based or microprocessor-based instruments.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage schedules, and handle field travel.
Work Environment
- Frequent visits to research labs, hospitals, pharma QC labs, universities, and testing facilities.
- Hands-on work involving delicate instruments, electrical components, and precision tools.
- Travel required based on service calls; occasional emergency breakdown visits.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
