About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Interior Design AutoCAD Drafter to translate designer intent and FF&E specifications into precise, production‑ready drawings. You will work closely with design leads to produce technical documentation that supports manufacturing, procurement, and installation on complex hospitality projects.
Key Responsibilities
- FF&E drafting — develop detailed shop drawings and millwork details in AutoCAD from design concepts, sketches, and specifications.
- Technical layouts — produce floor plans, elevations, sections, and 3D layouts for guestrooms, lobbies, restaurants, and public spaces.
- Schedules & callouts — create and maintain furniture schedules, finish schedules, and detailed component callouts tied to project specifications.
- Coordination — align drawings with architectural, MEP, and structural backgrounds to resolve clashes and dimensional conflicts.
- Revisions — incorporate redlines and markups from design leads, ensuring revisions are tracked and documented accurately.
- Standards — maintain drawing standards, layering conventions, title blocks, and template/library consistency.
- Procurement support — assist submittal packages and procurement documentation with accurate quantities and dimensions.
- Collaboration — work with manufacturing partners and procurement teams to ensure drawings are buildable and meet quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional drafting experience in interior design, FF&E, millwork, or related field (hospitality preferred).
- Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Drafting Technology, or related discipline.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of construction documentation, dimensioning standards, and drawing conventions.
- Knowledge of materials, finishes, and furniture/millwork construction methods.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and design drawings, specifications, and schedules.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple projects against deadlines.
- Clear written and verbal communication in English.
Software & Tools
- Essential: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Microsoft Office/Excel
- Preferred: Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam Revu
