Job Description
We are seeking a highly accomplished Manager of Engineering & Technical Services with over a 8 years of industry expertise to spearhead our technical operations. In this role, you will bridge the gap between engineering execution and business management. You will lead field teams, manage high-value technical assets, and ensure that our advanced surgical equipment portfolios consistently meet the rigorous uptime demands of modern healthcare environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise Technical Teams: Lead, mentor, and evaluate a team of field service engineers and biomedical technicians to ensure flawless machinery uptime.
- Optimize Resource Allocation: Manage departmental budgets, spare parts inventories, service contracts, and team deployment schedules.
- Resolve Escalated Technical Issues: Serve as the final escalation point for complex electronic or systemic failures in critical operating room environments.
- Lead engineering teams in servicing complex surgical and operating room equipment.
- Manage technical support, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance schedules for clients.
- Conduct technical training for junior engineers, technicians, and hospital biomedical staff.
- Coordinate with manufacturers and R&D teams to resolve chronic technical issues.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 8+ years of hands-on technical experience in medical or surgical equipment servicing, with a strong track record in a leadership or managerial capacity.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) OR a Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.

- Lead Client Meetings: Attend high-level meetings with hospital boards, procurement heads, and chief biomedical engineers to discuss service contracts, equipment performance, and technical solutions.
- Manage Technical Teams: Oversee a team of field service engineers and technicians handling the installation, calibration, and repair of complex surgical systems.
- Bridge Sales and Support: Partner with the sales and business development teams to provide technical expertise during pre-sales consultations and product demonstrations.
- Oversee Service Delivery: Manage escalated technical issues, define key performance indicators (KPIs) for uptime, and optimize preventative maintenance.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
