Key Roles and Responsibilities1. Site Execution and Supervision
- Supervise day-to-day construction activities.
- Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor labor, subcontractors, and equipment utilization.
- Coordinate excavation, foundation, flooring, structural, and external development works.
2. Surveying and Setting Out
- Establish building grid lines, benchmarks, and levels.
- Verify layout dimensions before construction.
- Coordinate with survey teams to ensure accuracy of warehouse positioning and elevations.
3. Quality Control
- Inspect materials such as concrete, steel, aggregates, and masonry materials.
- Ensure compliance with project quality standards.
- Conduct and monitor field tests (slump test, cube test, compaction tests, etc.).
- Maintain quality inspection records and checklists.
4. Concrete and Foundation Works
- Supervise earthwork, PCC, footing, pedestal, and grade beam construction.
- Ensure proper reinforcement placement and formwork installation.
- Monitor concrete pouring, curing, and finishing activities.
5. Industrial Flooring Management
Warehouse floors are critical due to forklift movement and storage loads.
- Supervise subgrade preparation and compaction.
- Monitor floor concrete placement and finishing.
- Ensure floor flatness and levelness requirements are achieved.
- Coordinate joint cutting, curing, and floor hardener applications.
6. Coordination with Structural Steel Team
- Verify anchor bolt locations and elevations before steel erection.
- Coordinate foundation readiness for steel structure installation.
- Resolve interface issues between civil and steel works.
7. Quantity Estimation and Billing
- Measure executed quantities.
- Prepare daily and monthly progress reports.
- Verify subcontractor bills.
- Assist in material reconciliation and cost control.
8. Safety Compliance
- Ensure workers follow site safety procedures.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings.
- Monitor excavation safety, working at height, and equipment operations.
- Report and address unsafe conditions.
9. Planning and Progress Monitoring
- Track construction progress against the project schedule.
- Identify delays and propose corrective actions.
- Coordinate material deliveries and manpower requirements.
10. Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain site records, inspection reports, and work permits.
- Prepare daily progress reports (DPRs).
- Record material consumption and site observations.
- Assist in preparing as-built drawings.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
