Job Opportunity: Production Chemist
- Location: Sarigam- Gujarat
- Position: Chlorination- Plant operator
- Experience Required: 2 to 5 Years (Chemical/Specialty Chemical Industry)
- Qualification: ITI AOCP / Diploma Chemical Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Process Operations: Handle safe daily operations of the Chlorination plant, managing chemical reactions, raw material charging, and temperature/pressure monitoring.
- Handling Hazardous Chemicals: Handle chlorine gas, reactors, scrubbing systems, and corrosive chemical transfers with strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Parameter Monitoring: Regularly check and log operating parameters (flow rates, pressures, temperatures, and levels) in DCS/field panels to maintain optimal plant efficiency.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), use proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and follow emergency response measures for chlorine handling.
- Troubleshooting: Identify operational abnormalities, minor leakages, or equipment malfunctions early and coordinate with the maintenance team for quick resolution.
- Housekeeping: Maintain clean, safe working conditions across the plant and storage yards in compliance with ISO and EHS standard
