Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and analytical Cost Accountant / Product Costing Executive who can prepare complete product costing, analyze profitability, monitor expenses, support pricing decisions, and provide financial insights to management. The candidate should have strong knowledge of costing methods, finance analysis, and MIS reporting.
Key Responsibilities:Product Costing:
- Prepare complete costing of products including:
- Raw Material Cost
- Labour Cost
- Packing Cost
- Overheads
- Freight / Logistics Cost
- Production Cost
- Maintain standard cost sheets for all products.
- Compare estimated cost vs actual cost.
- Update costing whenever price changes happen.
Cost Analysis:
- Analyze product-wise profit margins.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Variance analysis for material, labour, and overheads.
- Monitor wastage, scrap, and production losses.
Finance Analysis:
- Prepare monthly MIS reports.
- Budget vs Actual analysis.
- Support management in pricing decisions.
- Work on profitability reports by product / customer / region.
- Assist in financial planning and forecasting.
Inventory & Controls:
- Reconcile stock valuation with accounts.
- Ensure proper costing in inventory records.
- Coordinate with stores, purchase, production, and sales teams.
Compliance & Reporting:
- Support statutory audit and internal audit.
- Maintain costing records and documents.
- Ensure accuracy of financial data.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Cost Accounting principles.
- Product costing & BOM understanding.
- Excel Advanced (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, MIS).
- ERP knowledge (Tally / SAP / Oracle / Zoho / ERP systems).
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Qualification:
- CMA / ICWA / CA Inter / B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance
Experience:
- 3 to 8 years in Costing / Product Costing / Finance Analysis
Preferred Industry:
- Manufacturing / FMCG / Electrical / Engineering / Production Industry
Salary:
As per company standards & experience.
Pay: ₹17,057.31 - ₹67,023.83 per month
