Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts in Zoho Books.
Record all financial transactions including sales, purchases, expenses, and journal entries.
Perform regular bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny.
Ensure all entries are properly documented and audit-ready.

2. Invoicing & Revenue Tracking
Generate and share invoices (T&M, milestone-based, recurring/SaaS).
Ensure correctness of billing data in coordination with internal teams.
Maintain invoice records and track billed vs unbilled revenue.
3. Collections & Receivables Management
Track accounts receivable and maintain AR aging reports.
Perform regular customer follow-ups for outstanding payments.
Escalate long-pending dues to management.
Maintain collection records and update payment status.
4. Vendor & Payables Management
Process vendor bills and verify supporting documents.
Maintain vendor records (GST, PAN, payment terms).
Prepare payable schedules and ensure timely payments.
Track and reconcile vendor balances.
5. GST & Statutory Compliance
Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) within deadlines.
Perform GST reconciliation (sales, purchases, ITC).
Prepare data for TDS and other statutory filings.
Maintain compliance trackers and ensure zero delays in filings.
6. MIS & Reporting
Prepare monthly MIS reports:
Profit & Loss
Cash Flow
AR/AP Aging
Share reports with management within defined timelines.
Support ad hoc financial data requirements.
7. Process Adherence & Systems
Follow finance SOPs and internal controls strictly.
Ensure disciplined use of Zoho Finance tools (Books, Expense, Payroll).
Maintain high data accuracy across systems.
Identify and suggest basic process improvements.
8. Audit & External CA Coordination
Maintain audit-ready records at all times.
Coordinate with external CA firm for:
GST validation
TDS and tax filings
Audit requirements
Share required data/documents accurately and on time.
Respond to queries and ensure timely closure of observations.
9. Coordination & Communication
Coordinate with internal teams (sales, operations, HR) for finance inputs.
Communicate professionally with customers and vendors.
Ensure timely follow-ups and updates across stakeholders.
