Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager to manage the company's procurement activities. The role involves sourcing quality materials, negotiating with suppliers, ensuring timely deliveries, and optimizing procurement costs while maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure raw materials, consumables, and other required items.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Issue purchase orders and ensure timely material availability.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, and Finance teams for procurement planning.
- Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock.
- Track supplier performance and resolve quality or delivery issues.
- Maintain procurement records and prepare purchase reports.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement or purchase within a manufacturing company.
- Strong negotiation, vendor management, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP software.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
