An Architectural Interior Designer merges structural knowledge with aesthetic design to create functional, safe, and visually appealing indoor spaces. Key responsibilities include space planning, developing conceptual designs via 3D modeling, selecting materials/finishes, creating construction documents, and overseeing on-site execution to ensure compliance with building codes and design intent.
Core Responsibilities
- Design & Conceptualization: Develop, update, and manage design projects from concept to completion, including layout planning, color schemes, lighting design, and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) specifications.
- Technical Documentation: Produce detailed 2D/3D drawings, layouts, and construction documents using AutoCAD, Revit, or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Project Management: Supervise construction sites, coordinate with contractors (carpenters, electricians, plumbers), manage vendors, and ensure projects adhere to budgets and timelines.
- Client Management: Meet with clients to define project requirements, present design concepts (mood boards), and provide regular progress updates.
- Compliance: Ensure all designs and structural modifications comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and zoning laws.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
- Software Proficiency: High proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, 3D rendering software (SketchUp/V-Ray), and Adobe Photoshop.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, lighting, millwork detailing, and building systems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and visual communication skills for client presentations and contractor coordination.
Preferred Experience
- Proven experience working on both residential and commercial projects.
- Experience in architectural detailing and on-site supervision.
Pay: ₹10,772.20 - ₹45,578.86 per month
