Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Data Entry: Inputting Tamil & English text, numerical, and financial data from documents, invoices, or digital files into databases, often at a rapid pace.
- Verification: Reviewing data for errors, inconsistencies, or missing information and correcting them.
- Data Maintenance: Backing up files, organizing records, and updating existing data to maintain integrity.
- Administrative Support: Scanning documents, filing, printing, and generating reports as needed.
- Confidentiality: Adhering to data protection and security policies to safeguard sensitive information.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Typing Speed/Accuracy: Excellent Tamil & English touch-typing skills (often 50+ WPM) with high accuracy.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel) and familiarity with database software.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional focus to identify errors in large datasets.
- Organization: Ability to manage multiple documents and prioritize tasks.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is generally required; data entry certifications are a plus.
