JOB DESCRIPTION – SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER (TEXTILE RETAIL)
Position: Supply Chain Manager
Department: Supply Chain / Logistics
Experience: 15–20 Years in Textile Retail Industry
Location: Head Office Thiruvarur
Role Purpose
The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain operations including procurement coordination, warehouse management, inventory control, distribution planning, and logistics to ensure timely availability of products across all retail outlets while optimizing cost and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supply Chain Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement centralized supply chain strategies to support retail business growth.
- Plan and manage the movement of goods from suppliers to warehouses and retail stores.
- Ensure efficient supply chain operations aligned with company sales objectives.
2. Procurement & Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate with the purchase and merchandising teams for timely procurement of products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure timely deliveries.
3. Warehouse & Inventory Management
- Oversee warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Ensure accurate stock records and inventory tracking.
- Monitor stock levels to avoid stock shortages or overstocking.
4. Distribution & Logistics Management
- Plan and manage the distribution of products to different store locations.
- Ensure timely delivery and efficient transportation management.
- Optimize logistics costs and improve delivery timelines.
5. Demand Forecasting & Replenishment
- Analyze sales data and forecast product demand across stores.
- Coordinate stock replenishment to ensure availability of fast-moving items.
- Maintain balanced inventory levels across all outlets.
6. Process Improvement & Cost Optimization
- Identify supply chain inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
- Optimize transportation, storage, and operational costs.
- Implement best practices in supply chain management.
7. Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare and review supply chain performance reports.
- Monitor key metrics such as stock turnover, order fulfillment rate, and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate with sales, marketing, and operations teams for smooth business operations.

Qualification

Compensation
As per company standards and industry experience.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
