Job Summary:
We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable TGT – Computer Science Teacher to teach students from Grades 6 to 10. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, effective classroom management skills, and the ability to make computer science engaging and practical for students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons for Grades 6–10.
- Develop lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, projects, and assessments aligned with the school curriculum.
- Teach fundamental and advanced computer concepts appropriate to the students' grade levels.
- Incorporate practical activities, coding, problem-solving, and technology-based learning into classroom teaching.
- Assess students' academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Identify learning gaps and provide appropriate academic support to students.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
- Encourage students to develop logical thinking, computational thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
- Integrate appropriate digital tools and educational technology into teaching.
- Participate in examinations, school events, workshops, projects, and other academic activities.
- Maintain student records and complete academic documentation as required.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to support overall student development.
Candidate Profile:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science / Computer Applications / Computers or a relevant field.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a school environment.
- B.Ed. qualification will be an added advantage.
- Strong command of Computer Science concepts and practical applications.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage students from Grades 6 to 10.
- Comfortable using digital teaching tools and technology-enabled learning methods.
- Passionate about teaching and committed to students' academic and overall development.
