Job description:
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Dialysis Technician to join our expanding Renal Care Department. In this role, you will operate hemodialysis equipment, prepare dialysis solutions, and provide vital care and monitoring to patients undergoing kidney dialysis treatments under the supervision of nephrologists and senior nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities
Machine & Equipment Operations: Set up, prime, test, and operate hemodialysis machines and related equipment. Mix bicarbonate and prepare dialysis solutions according to clinical formulas.
Patient Care & Monitoring: Prepare patients for dialysis sessions, explain procedures, and answer any pre-treatment questions. Monitor patient vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration) continuously before, during, and after treatment.
Clinical Support: Assist medical staff with vascular access (cannulation) and manage any adverse reactions or emergencies that arise during the procedure.
Sanitization & Maintenance: Clean, sterilize, and disinfect dialysis machines and equipment post-treatment according to strict hospital infection control protocols. Handle dialyzer reprocessing where applicable.
Documentation: Maintain accurate electronic/written logs of patient treatment parameters, session notes, and equipment check sheets.
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications: B.Sc. in Dialysis Technology or a Diploma/Certification in Dialysis Technician Course from a recognized institution.
Experience: 1 to 3+ years
Skills:
Strong technical proficiency in troubleshooting and managing dialysis systems.
Sound knowledge of renal physiology, sterile procedures, and universal safety precautions.
Compassionate bedside manner and excellent communication skills to support anxious patients.
Availability: Willingness to work in rotating shifts, including morning, evening, and emergency rosters.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
