Job Summary
We are hiring experienced Electrical Design Engineers with expertise in Primary/Physical Design of High Voltage AIS/GIS Substations. The role involves detailed engineering, equipment selection, technical coordination, engineering calculations, and ensuring compliance with international standards for Utility and EPC projects.
Candidates having experience in Transmission & Distribution, Power Infrastructure, EPC, Utility, or Renewable Energy Substation Projects are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed engineering and physical design of AIS & GIS High Voltage Substations
- Prepare:
- General Arrangement (GA) Drawings
- Equipment Layouts
- Busbar Layouts
- Earthing & Grounding Layouts
- Lightning Protection Layouts
- Cable Routing & Cable Carrier Layouts
- Control Building Layouts
- Design Auxiliary AC/DC Systems
- Prepare equipment specifications, data sheets and BOM
- Perform engineering calculations including:
- Busbar & Conductor Sizing
- Earthing Design
- Lightning Protection
- Cable Sizing
- Voltage Drop
- Thermal Calculations
- Short Circuit Force Calculations
- Review vendor drawings and resolve technical queries
- Coordinate with Civil, Structural, Protection & Control, Project Engineering and Client teams
- Support FAT, SAT, commissioning and site engineering activities
- Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, ANSI and project standards
