Preci-Max Rollers Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a results-oriented Production Manager to lead the production planning of cylindrical rollers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for aligning production with customer schedules, managing machine loading plans, and ensuring efficient manpower deployment across shifts. The role demands hands-on experience in precision roller manufacturing, and the ability to lead a team while maintaining productivity, quality, and delivery commitments.
Key Responsibilities: Planning & Scheduling
- Prepare detailed production plans based on monthly and weekly customer schedules.
- Convert customer POs/forecasts into executable daily production targets.
- Ensure material availability and machine readiness for uninterrupted flow.
Machine Allocation & Load Balancing
- Plan machine allocation for centerless grinding, face grinding, superfinishing, etc., based on roller size and priority.
- Balance workloads across shifts and machines to maximize capacity utilization.
- Monitor and optimize cycle time, setup time, and OEE.
Manpower Management
- Plan and deploy skilled/unskilled manpower for each machine and operation.
- Monitor shift performance, attendance, and labor productivity.
- Train operators on SOPs, quality standards, and safe work practices.
Order Fulfillment & Delivery
- Coordinate with Dispatch and Sales teams to meet delivery deadlines.
- Track WIP (Work-in-Progress) and finished goods for priority orders.
- Address bottlenecks proactively to avoid shipment delays.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with ISO/TS 16949 quality management systems.
- Minimize rework and rejections through process control and operator training.
- Ensure EHS compliance (ISO 14001 / OHSAS 18001) on shop floor.
Reporting & Review
- Generate daily production, downtime, rejection, and manpower reports.
- Participate in daily production review meetings with cross-functional teams.
- Implement improvement plans based on KPI analysis.
