Job Title: Assistant Store Manager(Sales, Billing & Inventory)

Job Summary
We are looking for an energetic and customer-focused Assistant Store Manager to support the day-to-day operations of the store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, ensuring accurate billing operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a hands-on approach to store operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Customer Experience
- Achieve individual and store sales targets.
- Assist customers in selecting products and provide an exceptional shopping experience.
- Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize revenue.
- Build strong customer relationships and encourage repeat purchases.
- Handle customer queries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained at all times.
- Resolve exchange-related concerns while maintaining customer satisfaction and store profitability.
2. Billing & Cash Management
- Ensure accurate and efficient billing through POS systems.
- Handle cash, card, UPI, and other payment transactions accurately.
- Perform daily cash reconciliation and ensure billing accuracy.
- Process returns, exchanges, and refunds as per company policy.
- Minimize billing errors and ensure compliance with store procedures.
3. Inventory Management
- Monitor stock levels and ensure product availability at all times.
- Receive, verify, and organize incoming inventory.
- Conduct regular stock checks and inventory reconciliations.
- Coordinate stock replenishment and transfers when required.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and minimize stock discrepancies, damages, and shrinkage.
Additional Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in smooth store operations.
- Ensure visual merchandising and store presentation standards are maintained.
- Assist with store opening and closing procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and operational standards within the store.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–3 years of experience in retail sales, billing, or store operations.
- Strong sales orientation with the ability to meet targets.
- Experience working with POS and billing systems.
- Knowledge of inventory management and stock control processes.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Basic proficiency in MS Excel and retail software.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
