Mibo is looking for a compassionate and responsible Psychiatric Social Worker to support both Inpatient (IP) and Outpatient (OP) services. The role focuses on patient support, care coordination, psychoeducation, and structured basic counselling — without independent psychotherapy practice.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide basic supportive counselling and psychoeducation to patients and families
2. Assist in IP patient care, daily monitoring, and documentation
3. Coordinate between psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and caregivers
4. Support admission, discharge planning, and follow-up care
5. Conduct social assessments and maintain detailed case records
6. Ensure ethical practice, patient dignity, and confidentiality
Requirements:
MSW (Medical & Psychiatric Social Work preferred)
Strong communication and coordination skills
Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
Patient-centred, responsible, and quality-focused approach
