Job Summary
Implement and configure ServiceNow ITOM Health solutions with a primary focus on Event Management and Health Log Analytics. Work closely with architects and client SMEs to build integrations, rules, parsers, flows, and dashboards that reduce alert noise, accelerate triage, and improve service health KPIs.
Experience: 6+ years ServiceNow experience with 3+ years hands‑on ITOM / ITSM Health development.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
. Configure Event Management: connectors, event rules, alert management, correlation, and aggregation.
. Build HLA pipelines and parsers; develop patterns for anomaly detection, clustering, and noise reduction.
. Develop Flow Designer/IntegrationHub automations for enrichment and auto‑remediation; incident/major incident workflows.
. Create operations dashboards, alert consoles, and availability/health KPIs; enable business service impact views.
. Integrate with monitoring/observability/ITSM tools via REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, webhooks, and vendor adapters.
. Implement CMDB relationships and service maps in collaboration with Discovery/Service Mapping teams; maintain CI data quality.
. Harden performance and security: scoped app design, script includes, Glide APIs, ACLs, and encryption where appropriate.
. Write unit/ATF tests; support SIT/UAT; package deployments; troubleshoot and tune event/log pipelines.
. Document configurations, runbooks, and operational handover; support hypercare and continuous improvement backlogs.
. Adopt Now Assist for ITOM to accelerate triage, summarize incidents, and propose remediation steps where applicable.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Qualifications – Must Have
. Strong hands‑on configuration of Event Management and HLA on ServiceNow.
. Experience building integrations (REST/SOAP, MID Server, webhooks) and parsers; JavaScript/Glide scripting proficiency.
. Practical knowledge of CMDB/CSDM concepts and CI relationships; collaboration with Discovery/Service Mapping.
. Understanding of ITIL v4 (Incident, Problem, Change, Event) and SRE/operational KPIs (MTTD, MTTR, availability, SLOs).
. Experience with Now Assist for ITOM or similar AI/automation tools within operations.
Qualifications – Good to Have
. ServiceNow CSA (Certified System Administrator) – required or to be obtained within 3 months of joining.
. ServiceNow CIS – Event Management; CIS – Discovery and/or Service Mapping (preferred).
. ServiceNow CAD (Certified Application Developer) and micro‑certifications (e.g., IntegrationHub, Flow Designer).
. ITIL v4 Foundation; certifications with major monitoring tools (Dynatrace/AppDynamics/Datadog/New Relic/Splunk).
. Experience with ATF, automated testing, and CI/CD (Jenkins/Azure DevOps/GitLab) for ServiceNow.
. Exposure to cloud and container platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP, Kubernetes) and their observability signals.
. Experience operating in large, distributed enterprises with strong performance/security requirements.
