HR Manager

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end HR function, including recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, learning and development, HR operations, and statutory compliance. The role also involves designing and delivering training programs for employees and restaurant staff to ensure high performance, operational excellence, and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, selection, onboarding, and induction of new employees.
- Develop, implement, and update HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Handle the complete employee lifecycle, including confirmations, promotions, transfers, and exit formalities.
- Drive employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture initiatives.
- Manage the performance appraisal process and support managers with performance improvement plans.
- Plan, develop, and provide training programs for employees as well as restaurant staff members on customer service, company policies, SOPs, food safety, hygiene standards, compliance, and professional development.
- Conduct orientation and induction programs for new hires and ensure effective onboarding.
- Assess training needs, prepare annual training calendars, maintain training records, and evaluate training effectiveness.
- Partner with restaurant managers and department heads to enhance employee productivity and service quality through continuous learning initiatives.
- Resolve employee grievances and maintain positive employee relations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, statutory regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain HR records, employee documentation, and HRIS data.
- Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and MIS for management review.
- Support workforce planning and collaborate with department heads to meet hiring requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources is preferred.
- 5–6 years of experience as an HR Generalist or HR Manager.
- Experience in the hospitality, restaurant, or food & beverage industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws, statutory compliance, and HR best practices.
- Experience with HRMS/HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
