Role Overview
Arohi Global Textiles Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Quality Manager with strong expertise in the undergarment/innerwear manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of fabrics, yarns, stitching techniques, garment construction, and quality control processes to ensure that every product meets the company's quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
- Inspect raw materials, fabrics, yarns, elastics, and accessories before production.
- Conduct in-line and final quality inspections of finished garments.
- Identify fabric, stitching, and finishing defects, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure proper garment measurements, fitting, stitching quality, and finishing.
- Analyze production defects and work closely with the production team to improve product quality.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and inspection standards.
- Prepare quality inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation.
- Train and guide production staff on quality standards and best practices.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure raw material quality compliance.
- Ensure continuous improvement in product quality and manufacturing processes.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the undergarment/innerwear manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of fabric quality, GSM, fabric composition, stretch, shrinkage, and finishing.
- Excellent understanding of yarn types, thread quality, stitching techniques, and garment construction.
- Ability to identify fabric and yarn quality through visual inspection and hand feel.
- Strong knowledge of Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) procedures.
- Experience in handling production quality issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Good leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
Preferred Qualification
- Experience with men's, women's, and kids' innerwear products.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and Kaizen will be an added advantage.
Work Setup & Timings
- Office location: Salt Lake
- Exact shifts and in-office days will be communicated during interview/offer. Flexibility required to meet targets.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
