Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Facility Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day maintenance, housekeeping, security coordination, and infrastructure management of the campus. The ideal candidate will ensure that all facilities are safe, functional, clean, and conducive to a productive learning and working environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesFacility Management
- Supervise the overall maintenance and upkeep of campus buildings, classrooms, laboratories, offices, hostels, libraries, auditoriums, and common areas.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and identify maintenance requirements.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Ensure proper functioning of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, water supply, and other utility systems.
Housekeeping & Campus Cleanliness
- Supervise housekeeping staff and outsourced housekeeping agencies.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained across the campus.
- Monitor waste management and sanitation practices.
Security Coordination
- Coordinate with security personnel to ensure campus safety and security.
- Monitor access control, visitor management, and emergency response procedures.
- Report security concerns and recommend corrective actions.
Vendor & Contractor Management
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers for maintenance and repair works.
- Monitor service quality and adherence to contractual obligations.
- Assist in vendor evaluation and service renewals.
Asset & Inventory Management
- Maintain records of campus assets, equipment, furniture, and infrastructure.
- Track maintenance schedules and inventory of facility-related materials.
- Ensure proper utilization and safeguarding of institutional assets.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct safety inspections and maintain fire safety equipment.
- Support audits, accreditation visits, and statutory inspections.
Event & Infrastructure Support
- Coordinate facility arrangements for academic, cultural, and administrative events.
- Ensure availability of required infrastructure, seating, electrical support, and other logistics.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain maintenance logs, service records, and facility reports.
- Prepare periodic reports on facility operations, maintenance expenses, and improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Facility Management, Engineering, Administration, or a related field.
- Additional certification in Facility Management will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 3–8 years of experience in facility management, administration, or campus operations.
- Experience in educational institutions, colleges, universities, hospitals, or large campuses preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of building maintenance and facility operations.
- Good understanding of electrical, plumbing, and civil maintenance activities.
- Vendor and contractor management skills.
- Strong leadership and team supervision abilities.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and reporting.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and emergencies efficiently.
Pay: From ₹40,000.00 per month
