JOB DESCRIPTION (JD) – MIS Executive (HR)
1. Basic Information
- Department / Unit: Human Resources
- Job Title: Executive – HR
- Location: Madurai
- Reporting To: HR Manager
2. Job Objective
To manage, analyze, and maintain HR-related data and reports to support decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and ensure accurate workforce information management.
3. Key Responsibilities (KRA)
- Maintain and update employee database (attendance, payroll, leave, etc.)
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for HR activities
- Prepare dashboards and analytics for management review
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across HR systems
- Support payroll inputs and validation processes
- Track employee lifecycle data (joining, exit, transfers, promotions)
- Coordinate with various departments for data collection and reporting
- Identify trends and provide insights for HR decision-making
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
4. Authority
- Access to HR data and reporting systems
- Authority to validate and highlight discrepancies in HR data
- Authority to recommend process improvements
5. Job SpecificationsQualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce / Business Administration / MBA HR
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in MIS, HR operations, or data management
Age
6. Skills & Competencies
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of HR processes
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to handle large datasets
7. Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
- Accuracy of reports generated
- Timeliness of MIS submission
- Data integrity and error reduction
- Quality of insights and analysis provided
8. Working Conditions
- Office-based role
- May require extended hours during payroll or reporting cycles
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
