Role Overview
Gate Manufacturing Private Limited is looking for a Manufacturing & Packing Supervisor – Fresher to support manufacturing and packing operations while managing manpower and ensuring smooth workflow on the shop floor.
The role involves supervising manpower, monitoring manufacturing and packing activities, maintaining production and packing standards, supporting quality requirements, and ensuring finished products are properly handled and prepared for dispatch.
Key Responsibilities
- Allocate and manage manpower across manufacturing and packing activities.
- Monitor attendance, manpower availability, and worker deployment.
- Support daily manufacturing and packing schedules.
- Monitor production flow from manufacturing to finished goods and packing.
- Ensure operators follow SOPs, work instructions, safety, and quality requirements.
- Monitor packing activities according to approved packing standards.
- Ensure correct quantity, identification, labeling, and handling of finished products.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores, and Dispatch teams.
- Monitor material movement between manufacturing, finished goods, and packing areas.
- Maintain manufacturing and packing reports and records.
- Report shortages, quality issues, packing errors, and operational problems.
- Support 5S, housekeeping, safety, and continuous improvement activities.
- Assist in training new workers/operators.
- Escalate production, manpower, quality, and material issues to senior supervisors.
Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
- Freshers are encouraged to apply.

- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Basic knowledge of packing and material handling.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Basic MS Excel knowledge.
- Leadership and manpower-handling ability.
- Willingness to work hands-on on the shop floor.
- Strong learning attitude and discipline.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
