Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Sr. Cosmetic Formulator to develop and improve innovative skincare products. The role involves product formulation, testing, ingredient research, stability evaluation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to create safe, effective, and high-quality products.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and formulate innovative skincare and hair care products such as creams, lotions, serums, balms and shampoo.
- Conduct formulation trials, stability testing, and product scale-up.
- Improve existing formulations for performance, stability, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Research new ingredients, technologies, and cosmetic formulation trends.
- Evaluate and source high-quality raw materials in coordination with suppliers.
- Maintain accurate formulation, testing, and manufacturing documentation.
- Ensure products comply with cosmetic safety, regulatory, and labelling requirements.
- Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, and Marketing teams.
- Provide technical guidance to junior formulators and production teams.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of cosmetic ingredients and formulation techniques.
- 4-6 years of experience in skincare and haircare product development and testing.
- Knowledge of natural and organic cosmetic formulations is preferred.
- Good understanding of cosmetic regulations and quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
