Financial Analyst I - Chennai

As a Financial Analyst I at ICON, you will support financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities. You will contribute to the financial health and strategic decision-making of the organization by providing insightful financial data, analysis, and recommendations.
What You Will Do:
You will take responsibility for finance and financial management deliverables, applying your skills to ensure quality and efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:

Assisting in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making processes.

Analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and key insights, and communicating findings to stakeholders.

Supporting month-end and year-end close processes, including account reconciliations and financial statement analysis.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting of projects and initiatives.

Contributing to the development and improvement of financial models and analytical tools to enhance financial forecasting and analysis capabilities.
Your Profile:
You will bring relevant finance and financial management experience, along with the following qualifications and skills.
Required qualifications and experience:

Should be fully qualified CA/CMA.

Should have 2+years of post qualification experience.

Entry-level experience in financial analysis, accounting, or related roles, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.

Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as Excel, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Willingness to travel as required (approximately 5%)
