Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Retail Sales Associate Trainer for our skill development and livelihood project in Thana Kalan, Una, Himachal Pradesh. The trainer will be responsible for delivering quality training sessions, developing employability skills, and preparing candidates for jobs in the retail sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct classroom and practical training for Retail Sales Associate candidates.
- Deliver sessions on customer handling, sales techniques, billing process, communication skills, grooming, and workplace behavior.
- Prepare lesson plans, training materials, assessments, and practical activities.
- Maintain batch records, attendance, assessments, and daily training reports.
- Support student mobilization, counseling, and placement activities.
- Conduct mock interviews, personality development, and soft skills sessions.
- Ensure adherence to NSQF/SSC guidelines and project requirements.
- Coordinate with centre management for training schedules and batch operations.
- Monitor candidate progress and provide mentoring support.
- Participate in field activities, community meetings, and awareness programs when required.
Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Certification or experience in Retail Sales/Skill Development preferred.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in retail training, sales, or skilling projects.
- Good communication and presentation skills in Hindi and basic English.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Google Sheets, reporting).
- Experience in PMKVY/DDU-GKY/Skill Development projects will be preferred.
