Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. In this role, you will play a vital part in designing, managing, and overseeing a wide range of civil engineering projects that shape communities and infrastructure. Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation using project management tools.
- Prepare detailed construction drawings and schematics utilizing AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and other CAD software.
- Conduct land surveying activities and utilize GIS and ArcGIS for spatial analysis and mapping.
- Perform construction management duties such as site inspections, quality control, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Estimate project costs through construction estimating techniques and assist in system design for water treatment, wastewater treatment, or hydraulic systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on system design, geotechnical engineering assessments, and civil infrastructure development.
- Prepare technical documentation including reports, specifications, and construction inspection records using technical writing skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; advanced certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience with project scheduling software and construction management practices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, HEC-RAS (Hydraulic Engineering Centers), SWMM (Storm Water Management Model), Mathcad, and other relevant tools.
- Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles, land surveying techniques, hydraulics, and water/wastewater treatment systems.
- Familiarity with GIS platforms such as ArcGIS for spatial data analysis and mapping.
- Ability to perform construction inspection duties accurately while maintaining safety standards.
- Excellent technical writing skills for preparing reports and project documentation.
- Effective project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
