Role Overview
We are looking for a Part-Time / Freelance Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in PLC programming and industrial automation to support our ongoing projects.
The role is suitable for an experienced automation professional who is interested in project-based work and long-term association.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, test and troubleshoot PLC programs.
- Work with PLC platforms such as Delta, Siemens, Mitsubishi and Omron.
- Develop and configure HMI applications.
- Configure and integrate VFDs / AC drives.
- Work with sensors, I/O modules and other field devices.
- Work on machine automation and control systems.
- Read and understand electrical and control drawings.
- Troubleshoot automation and control-system issues.
- Support testing, commissioning and site work whenever required.
- Assist with automation projects involving conveyors, packaging systems, robotic arm systems, pumping systems and other industrial machinery.
- Maintain basic project documentation and PLC program backups.
Required Skills & Experience
- Hands-on experience in PLC programming.
- Practical knowledge of at least one or more of: Delta / Siemens / Mitsubishi / Omron.
- Knowledge of HMI, VFDs/drives, sensors and I/O.
- Understanding of industrial automation and machine-control systems.
- Ability to read electrical/control drawings.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently on assigned projects.
- SCADA knowledge is an advantage.
- Delhi NCR candidates preferred, particularly for projects requiring site visits.
