A Digital Marketing Executive is a professional responsible for planning, executing, and managing a company's online marketing strategies to build brand awareness, drive website traffic, and generate leads. They bridge the gap between high-level strategy and practical day-to-day implementation across various digital channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Campaign Management: Plan and execute marketing campaigns across SEO, SEM, social media, email, and display advertising.
- Content Creation: Write and optimize engaging content for websites, blogs, and social media platforms to ensure brand consistency.
- Social Media Management: Manage company profiles on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter, engaging with followers and monitoring trends.
- SEO/SEM Optimization: Conduct keyword research and on-page/off-page optimization to improve organic rankings and manage paid search (PPC) budgets.
- Analytics & Reporting: Use tools like Google Analytics and Search Console to track KPIs (e.g., CTR, ROI, conversion rates) and provide performance reports.
- Email Marketing: Develop and distribute newsletters and promotional emails, segmenting audience lists for better targeting.
- Collaboration: Work with designers, web developers, and sales teams to improve user experience (UX) and align digital efforts with business goals.
Core Requirements & Skills:
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.
- Experience: Typically 1–3 years of proven experience in digital marketing or a similar role.
Technical Proficiency:
- Familiarity with Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and SEO tools like SEMrush or Ahrefs.
- Experience with Email Marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot) and Content Management Systems like WordPress.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and graphic design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is often a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to multitask under tight deadlines.
