Job Summary
The F&B Executive (Banquet) is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising banquet events to ensure excellent guest service, smooth operations, and adherence to hotel standards. The role involves managing banquet staff, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring successful execution of all events.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all banquet functions, including conferences, weddings, meetings, and social events.
- Ensure banquet halls are set up according to the approved function sheet (BEO) and hotel standards.
- Conduct pre-function briefings with the banquet team.
- Coordinate with Kitchen, Housekeeping, Engineering, Sales, and Front Office for seamless event execution.
- Welcome guests and ensure exceptional service throughout the event.
- Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and service standards.
- Ensure proper staffing, duty allocation, and supervision during events.
- Handle guest requests, complaints, and special requirements professionally.
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards are maintained in banquet areas.
- Monitor banquet equipment and report any maintenance requirements.
- Maintain inventory of banquet operating equipment and supplies.
- Ensure proper billing support and event closure documentation.
- Train and motivate banquet associates to improve performance.
- Ensure compliance with hotel SOPs, grooming standards, and food safety regulations.
- Prepare daily banquet reports and communicate operational updates to management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality.
- 2–5 years of experience in Banquet Operations in a hotel.
- Good knowledge of banquet setup, service styles, and event operations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and guest handling abilities.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
