We are looking for an Assistant Manager Finance to join our dynamic team for The Hoxton Bengaluru City.
The Hoxton is opening its very first neighbourhood hotel in Asia, coming to India’s Bengaluru city centre in 2026. This is a major milestone for the brand as it ventures into a new continent entirely and we are now looking for a brilliant leadership team to help bring this lifestyle brand to the market.
Located in the heart of the city centre, The Hoxton, Bengaluru City will bring its undeniable brand DNA and guest experience to India’s “Silicon Valley”, a high-tech city filled with parks and gardens and known for its vibrant cafe and pub culture - very apt for a brand that was founded in London!
The hotel will feature 149 bedrooms in a variety of The Hoxton’s well-loved room categories and the lobby will have a vibrant all-day dining restaurant & bar. Topping off the hotel we will have a rooftop pool and bar, large scale function rooms and The Apartment - The Hoxton’s unique meeting & events concept

Job Description
What you’ll do…
-
Support the Director of Finance in the day-to-day management of the Finance department, ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.

Assist in preparing monthly financial statements, management reports, forecasts, budgets and financial analysis.

Monitor daily income audit, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general cashier and general ledger functions to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Review balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries and month-end closing activities to maintain the integrity of financial records.

Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, tax regulations and financial reporting standards.

Monitor cash flow, working capital and cost control initiatives while identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency.

Partner with operational departments to analyse business performance, control costs and support commercial decision-making.

Assist with internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit observations.

Support the Director of Finance in developing, coaching and motivating the finance team while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Previous experience as an Assistant Finance Manager, Finance Executive or Senior Accountant within a hotel or hospitality environment.

Professional qualification in Accounting or Finance or a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance.

Strong knowledge of hotel accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, taxation and internal controls.

Experience with hotel PMS, ERP/financial systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Knowledge of financial procedures and Sun System, or similar hotel financial applications will be an advantage.
