Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and responsible Fire Alarm Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair fire alarm systems at client sites. The candidate should have knowledge of fire safety systems, wiring, panel configuration, and preventive maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation and commissioning of fire alarm systems.
- Troubleshooting and repairing fire alarm panels and devices.
- Conduct routine inspection and preventive maintenance of fire alarm systems.
- Testing smoke detectors, hooters, MCPs, and control panels.
- Reading electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Coordinating with clients during service visits and AMC work.
- Preparing service reports and maintenance records.
- Ensuring all work is completed as per safety standards and company guidelines.
- Attending emergency breakdown calls when required.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of conventional and addressable fire alarm systems.
- Basic electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills.
- Understanding of fire safety standards and equipment.
- Ability to use testing tools and instruments.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to travel for site visits.
Qualification
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in fire alarm system installation and maintenance preferred.
Preferred Knowledge
- Experience with brands like Honeywell, Notifier, Bosch, Agni, Ravel, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of AMC and service support.
