Position: Quality Engineer – Architectural Finishing Products
Job Summary
We are looking for a Quality Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring the quality of installation works while also supervising day-to-day site execution. The role involves monitoring workmanship, ensuring compliance with approved drawings and specifications, coordinating with clients and contractors, and maintaining quality records for expansion joint covers, façade systems, aluminium sliding windows, and other architectural finishing products.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise the installation of Expansion Joint Covers, Façade Systems, Aluminium Sliding Windows, ACP Cladding, Louvers, and related architectural finishing products.
Ensure all work is executed as per approved shop drawings, method statements, project specifications, and quality standards.
Conduct stage-wise and final quality inspections before handing over completed work.
Prepare and maintain Inspection Reports (IR), Inspection & Material Inspection Reports (IMIR), checklists, snag lists, NCRs, and quality documentation.
Identify quality issues, recommend corrective actions, and ensure timely closure.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, PMC, architects, contractors, and internal teams for inspections and approvals.
Verify site measurements and ensure proper alignment, level, fixing methods, sealants, hardware, and finishing quality.
Monitor labour productivity, workmanship, material usage, and installation progress.
Ensure availability of approved materials, drawings, tools, and equipment before execution.
Maintain daily progress reports, quality records, and photographic documentation.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and promote safe working practices at site.
Support billing by verifying executed quantities and completed work.
Assist in project handover, testing, snag rectification, and final client approvals.
Requirements
Diploma/B.E. in Civil, Mechanical, or a related engineering discipline.
3–7 years of experience in quality control and site supervision for façade, aluminium windows, expansion joint covers, or architectural finishing works.
Good knowledge of façade systems, glazing, aluminium windows, expansion joint installations, sealants, hardware, and finishing details.
Ability to read architectural, structural, and shop drawings.
Knowledge of quality inspection procedures, documentation, and project execution.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); knowledge of project management software is an advantage.
Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lead site teams, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and work under project deadlines.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
