Job Title: Engineer – A Grade Licensee
Job Summary:
The Engineer – A Grade Licensee is responsible for supervising, executing, and ensuring compliance of electrical works as per statutory regulations and safety standards. The role includes handling electrical project execution, inspections, approvals, documentation, and coordination with authorities, clients, and site teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage electrical installation and maintenance works
- Ensure all electrical works comply with government regulations and safety standards
- Prepare and verify electrical drawings, load calculations, and technical documents
- Coordinate with electrical inspectors, KSEB authorities, contractors, and clients
- Handle approvals, testing, commissioning, and certification of electrical systems
- Monitor site activities and ensure quality execution of work
- Attend technical inspections and resolve site-related electrical issues
- Maintain proper records, reports, and statutory documentation
- Guide technicians and electricians during project execution
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid A Grade Electrical Supervisor/Contractor License
- Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant qualification
- Good knowledge of electrical systems, safety standards, and regulations
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and basic computer applications is an advantage
- Strong problem-solving and site coordination skills
Experience:
- Experience in electrical project execution and supervision preferred
