Job Description
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the early childhood curriculum.
- Create a stimulating and safe classroom environment.
- Foster holistic development – cognitive, physical, emotional, and social – through play-based and activity-based learning.
- Use storytelling, rhymes, games, and other creative methods to teach foundational literacy and numeracy.
- Encourage curiosity, exploration, and independence among children.
- Maintain positive communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Observe and assess student behavior and development, and provide feedback or referrals where necessary.
- Ensure classroom cleanliness, safety, and adherence to health protocols.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff for planning and school activities.
- Participate in school events, training, and professional development as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
- Diploma/Certification in Nursery Teachers Training (NTT), Montessori, or ECCE (Early Childhood Care and Education) is preferred.
- Proven experience in teaching pre-primary or primary level students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong classroom management and observation abilities.
- Passionate about working with young children and fostering early learning.
