Job Title: BIM Modeler
Mode of Work: Remote
Experience Required: 10+ Years
We are looking for an experienced BIM Modeler with a strong background in U.S. residential projects. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Autodesk Revit, a solid understanding of multi-material construction systems, and experience working on shop drawings/designs. You will collaborate with international teams and deliver high-quality BIM models aligned with U.S. standards and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage high-quality BIM models using Autodesk Revit for residential projects.
- Prepare detailed construction documentation including plans, sections, elevations, and schedules.
- Create and review shop drawings/designs ensuring accuracy and constructability.
- Work with project teams to incorporate client markups/redlines and ensure compliance with U.S. codes and standards.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to resolve design clashes and inconsistencies.
- Ensure models are aligned with project requirements, timelines, and quality standards.
- Maintain BIM standards, templates, and workflows across projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in BIM/Revit modeling.
- Proven experience working on U.S. residential projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit (modeling + documentation).
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and detailing standards.
- Hands-on experience working with multiple materials, including:
o Wood (especially wood framing)
o Steel
o CMU (Concrete Masonry Units)
o Concrete
- Experience in creating and reviewing shop drawings/shop design workflows.
- Ability to interpret and implement client markups/redlines effectively.
- Experience collaborating with U.S.-based teams/clients.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with BIM coordination tools (e.g., Navisworks).
- Knowledge of U.S. building codes and standards.
- Strong communication skills for remote collaboration.
- Experience working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
