Key Responsibilities
Production Operations
Supervise and operate multiple monolayer blown film extrusion machines.
Ensure machines run efficiently with minimum breakdowns and stoppages.
Achieve daily production targets as per planning requirements.
Monitor output, wastage, gauge control, width control, and productivity.
Ensure proper changeovers with minimum downtime.
Machine Monitoring & Maintenance
Ensure all monolayer machines are functioning properly at all times.
Identify operational issues and coordinate with maintenance team for quick
resolution.
Monitor heaters, air rings, chillers, motors, drives, and other machine
components.
Conduct regular machine inspections and preventive checks.
Maintain machine cleanliness and proper housekeeping.
Quality Control
Ensure film quality meets customer and internal specifications.
Monitor:
o Thickness consistency
o Sealability
o Film strength
o Surface finish
o Roll appearance
o Bubble stability
Reduce rejection, wastage, and process variation.
Coordinate with QA department for quality approvals and corrective actions.
Process Optimization
Optimize machine parameters for better output and lower wastage.
Guide operators on correct processing conditions.
Maintain standard process settings for different products.
Support trials and developments of new products or raw materials.
Team Management
Supervise operators, helpers, and shift staff.
Train operators on machine handling and quality awareness.
Ensure manpower discipline and proper shift handovers.
Maintain smooth coordination between shifts.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain production reports, downtime reports, wastage records, and shift
logs.
Report major machine issues and quality concerns to management.
Monitor raw material consumption and production efficiency.
Safety & Compliance
Ensure safe working practices on all machines.
Follow factory safety standards and SOPs.
Ensure proper use of PPE by operators and helpers.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of monolayer blown film extrusion process.
Ability to handle multiple machines simultaneously.
Good troubleshooting skills for processing and machine issues.
Understanding of polymers like LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE, and additives.
Knowledge of gauge control and film quality parameters.
Leadership and manpower handling capability.
Pay: ₹65,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
