Key Responsibilities:

Applies and supports the development of processes such as Design Review, Virtual Review, and tools such as DFMEA, DVP & R, DFM, DFA, tolerance stack-up, etc.

Conducts cross-functional reviews for components on own, seeks guidance from experts and program team members as required.

3D CAD modelling for major casting components and other engine components like plumbing, fuel piping, sheet metal brackets, etc.

Creating and checking 2D drawings. Apply GD&T and design for Manufacturing/service/assembly.

Develop engineering releases as per component requirement for respective design phase.

Support on the engine build with proposed BOM (Review BOM and verify it during engine build).

Support part movement during the engine builds, validation, testing, etc.

Capable to handle ETLA and Product tailoring components / system TLA.
Skills and Experience Required:
-
Experience Range - 4 to 10 Years in related field.
-
Qualification - MTech or BTech Mechanical or Associated Branches.
-
Background of working in CREO on diesel engine air handling components/ peripherals will be and added advantage.

Knowledge of product lifecycle.
-
Knowledge of Manufacturing processes and Design for Assembly.

MCM knowledge is preferred.

Basic knowledge of engine component's function is preferred.
-
CAD Proficiency: Pro/E – Creo.
-
Expected Skill Level – Expert.
